Diesel Gala

The Strathspey Railway will be hosting a Heritage Diesel Gala at the start of the 2022 operating season.

Running on Friday the 18th, Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of March, the gala will feature a number of diesel locomotives that call the Strathspey Railway their home, including Class 27, D5394; Class 31, D5862 and Class 37, 37674.

The class 117 DMU, Sc.51367 and Sc.51402 will also feature.

Shunting locomotives will also feature, including Class 08, D3605 and North British D2774; Ruston DS48 and “Queen Anne” will also make an appearance.
